Marsh was brought on as a substitute in the second half, Adam Phillips scoring in the final minutes to make it 3-2 following the youngster's introduction.
The 20-year-old spoke to iFollow Barnsley post-match at Bloomfield Road:
"In the last twenty, thirty minutes we really got on the front foot. We showed how well we can actually play and attack teams. Tough result. We came here for three points, nothing less. It's frustrating but after the game everyone is getting around each other and trying to stay positive, which we're going to do."
