We got the thoughts of our Women's head coach following a fine win away at Alnwick at the weekend.
Goals from Victoria Chincharo, Kirstie Nicholls and Jodie Gregory fired Barnsley FC Women to a huge win on the road at Alnwick Town Ladies on Sunday.
Head Coach, Jess Horsley - whose players are fighting on two fronts - had injury issues within the Reds squad in the build-up to this fixture and had seen her team play a third game in seven days.
"It was a massive three points." Jess admitted.
"We had a few players missing so knew it was going to be difficult but the girls did everything that was asked of them and deserved the win. The girls were brilliant from the start and gave everything until the last whistle. I can't ask for more than that."
Horsley was keeping her feet firmly on the ground despite this latest victory. With two trophies up for grabs, it would be easy to get carried away. But it's all about the next game.
"We know we still have a lot to do and will now focus on the next game against South Shields away from home this Sunday."
